Are you a poet? A poetry publisher? Interested in poetry promotion, performance, reading and writing?

Join Cyprus Well, Apples & Snakes and ExCite Poetry for an informal networking get-together during Exeter Poetry Festival. A laid-back chance to meet other people in the poetry sector in the South West, and get connected. The event features introductions from Tracey Guiry, Director, Cyprus Well, Gina Sherman, Apples & Snakes Programme Coordinator, SW and Rachel McCarthy, ExCite Poetry.

The event will close with a performance by Dorothea Smartt, a London based poet of Barbadian heritage, and the author of two books of poetry: Connecting Medium and Ship Shape. She has also been published in several anthologies internationally and has performed her work across the globe. Dorothea’s performance in association with www.thebooksproject.wordpress.com

Afterwards there will be plenty of time to chat with other poetry activists in the Exeter Phoenix Bar before the next poetry event.
