The respirator you will be using it for will determine the type of disposable facemask you need.
For example, if you are using a N95 respirator for general work purposes, then you will need an N95 disposable facemask. If you are using a P100 respirator for hazardous work conditions, then you will need a P100 disposable facemask.
The material the face mask is made out of is also important. The most common types of materials used in throwaway face masks are styrofoam and paper.

Styrofoam masks offer more protection against dust and other particles but are less effective at filtering out bacteria and fungi than paper masks. Some people prefer paper masks because they do not produce as much breathing noise when worn and they can be crushed or torn easily if mishandled.
The size of the face mask is also important. Most disposable masks come in two sizes: small (for people with a head diameter smaller than 21 inches) and large (for people with a head diameter larger than 21 inches). Make sure to choose the right size for your head before placing your order!
